Deputy Taylor Fletcher Lindsey, 25 years of age, of Gainesville, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 in Trenton, FL. He was born on June 30, 1992 to William Lindsey and Nancy Newbern Lindsey in Gainesville, FL and was a lifelong resident. He was a huge Georgia Bulldog fan and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Deputy Lindsey loved his job in Law Enforcement where he proudly and bravely served his community with the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office. He was of the Methodist faith. Deputy Lindsey is survived by his parents, William Michael Lindsey of Gainesville, FL and Nancy Newbern Lindsey of Gainesville, FL; his maternal grandmother, Anita Darrell of Hudson, FL; his maternal grandfather, James Newbern of Wellborn, FL and his paternal grandfather, William Fletcher Lindsey of Gainesville, FL. Funeral Services for Deputy Lindsey will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Bell High School Auditorium in Bell, FL. Chaplin Ronnie Gregory officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
