Steven Roberts

Steven Roberts, a beloved resident of Trenton, Florida, passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on December 23, 1963, in Orlando, Florida, Steven’s zest for life was evident from an early age. His passions were rooted in the open road and the joy of driving, leading him to dedicate 43 years to a fulfilling career as a truck driver. Throughout his life, if the job wasn't trucking, the open highway never failed to call him back, providing him with endless adventures and experiences.

In Elementary school, he met his future wife, Lori Norman, on the school bus. Their love story blossomed into a beautiful marriage that lasted for 30 wonderful years. He later graduated from Colonial High School in June of 1981.

Alongside his professional endeavors, Steven embraced the simple pleasures of life. He found great joy in the animated worlds of SpongeBob Square Pants and Scooby Doo, cherishing the lighter moments they brought to his life.

Steven is survived by his devoted wife, Lori; their beloved fur baby, Recon Shadow; sister Rhonda Breuer (Ron) from New Port Richey, Florida; and nephews Aaron, Jeremy, and Joshua, as well as Cody Roberts from Michigan. He is also remembered by his Aunt Toni Melvin from Marianna, Florida.

Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann (Melvin) Roberts; father, Ernest B. Roberts; paternal grandparents, Arvel Roberts and Frances Mayo; maternal grandparents, Jack Melvin and Ruth Cindrick; uncles Doug Melvin and Kenneth Melvin; and nephew Brian Daniel Breuer. He will be fondly remembered by those who knew him and loved him, including his cherished fur babies, Blacky T. Roberts and Daisy Mae, who was known as Daddy's little girl.
