Steven Crosby, age 59, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on February 11, 2025, in Chiefland, Florida. Born on March 17, 1965, Steven lived a life filled with dreams, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.
As a dedicated homebuilder, Steven poured his heart and soul into creating spaces where memories could be made. A true dreamer, he often envisioned a life where he would soar through the skies as a pilot or even owning a lighthouse. However, his most cherished dream was to retire and start a homestead the way God intended. Raising healthy and chemical free livestock and grow crops free from herbicides and pesticides. Ultimately aiming to contribute to the health of future generations. His passion for this came directly from his own battle with cancer. Even through this fight, Steven was said to be a man that woke up every day with the best intentions. That no matter how good or how bad the previous day was, he always made the best of it.
Steven was a man of faith and loved The Lord. His unwavering commitment to serve Jesus has brought his family immense comfort in knowing he left this life and was welcomed in the arms of his savior.
Steven is survived by his devoted wife, Sharen Crosby, and his four children, Steven Crosby Jr. (Kaitlyn), Laura Bailey (Stephen), Kyra Crosby, and Kendra Crosby; his four grandchildren; his brother, Dennis Crosby; his Aunt Sue Klanka; and numerous cousins from North Branch, Michigan, who will forever carry his memory close to their hearts.
He was predeceased by his parents, Beull and Mary Lou Crosby, and his brother, Douglas Crosby.
A funeral service to honor Steven will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Watson-Milton Funeral Home, Trenton at 1:00 PM. Family invites friends for a visitation one hour prior to the service at 12:00 PM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Watson-Milton Funeral Home. (352)463-8888 www.watsonmilton.com
