Ricky Harold Burgess

Ricky Burgess

August 10, 1960 - March 31, 2023

Ricky left this world for his heavenly home on March 31st. He was born in Melbourne, FL to Horace and Ola Mae Burgess. Ricky was the 2nd born of twins. 

Ricky lived most of his life in Florida and Georgia. He was a handyman and was very artistic with tile, stucco & other types of construction. He completed many remodeling projects & was a very hard worker. 

He loved fishing, hunting, the waterways & nature. He preferred solitude.

He is predeceased by his mother, Ola Mae Burgess, his father, Horace Burgess, his sister, Estelle Cotten and his brother, David Burgess.

He is survived by his sisters, Glennie Vokoun (Texas), Darlene Hughes (Florida); twin brother, Dicky Burgess (Mississippi); his children Katie Scott (Georgia), Irene Castillo (Florida) and Ricky Burgess Jr., (Georgia); 6 grandchildren and numerous other extended family and friends.

Arrangements and care are under the direction of Watson-Milton Funeral Home in Trenton, FL. There will be no service.
