Richard “Gordon” Ingram, or commonly known as “Pops” age 74, passed away on February 18, 2025, in Trenton, Florida. Born on September 9, 1950, in Williston, Gordon led a life defined by kindness, and being a simple man.
Gordon dedicated over three decades of his life to The Florida Department of Corrections, where he served with commitment, integrity and respect. He was a man of few words yet possessed a presence that resonated with those fortunate enough to know him. He rarely complained and embraced every aspect of life with grace and simplicity. Gordon was a passionate gun collector as well as an avid fisherman.
In his cherished 33 years of marriage to his beloved wife, Jackie, together they navigated life's ups and downs hand in hand, rarely spending time apart.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife, Jackie; his two stepsons, Jody Rolling and Chris Rolling (Tanya); his seven grandchildren and extended family Kevin (Kaye) Rolling.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Lallie "Pearl" Ingram, his sons Brian and Larry, and his brother Larry Ingram.
A graveside service to honor Gordon will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Priscilla Baptist Church Cemetery in Bell, at 11:00 AM.
