Patricia Ann Kunz

Patricia Ann (Munnetlyn) Kunz, age 81, of High Springs, FL, passed away on June 22, at her home. She was born on October 7, 1942, in Palm Beach, FL, to Herbert and Helen Munnetlyn (Prentice). After school, Patricia enlisted in the United States Army where she served for several years. After her years of service, she went back to school and obtained her nursing license. She was a flower child at heart, and bounced around from town to town before she settled in High Springs in the 1990’s. She loved being outside, especially fishing. She was proud of her record for light line fishing. Patricia also had a huge heart for animals. She loved her dogs and cats and was a faithful contributor to the Humane Society. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kunz; her son, Brad Carlson; her brother, Bert Munnetlyn; her sister, Cathy Wood and both parents.

She is survived by her sons, Brett, Beetle, and Dale Carlson; her grandchildren, Brad, Jacob, Jordan, Sierra, and Bryce; 9 great-grandchildren; her two sisters and a brother; numerous extended family also survive.Patricia was laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on July 3, 2023.
