Ms. Pamela Bible, age 65, of Chiefland, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024, at Tri-County Nursing and Rehab. She was born on June 24, 1958, in Clearwater, FL, to Robert Bible and Dora “Jeanette” Bible. Pam moved to Arizona, as a kid, and went on to graduate from high school and obtain a college degree while living in Arizona. She moved back to Florida and began working for her mother’s restaurant, “Neighbor’s”, in Fanning Springs, FL. Pam took a break from the food service industry and worked in banking for 10 years. She worked at both Capital City Bank and Ameris Bank before realizing her true passion was in the restaurant business. Pam spent the rest of her life primarily working in Cedar Key. Pam was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Cedar Key. Pam had a huge heart and loved to help and serve others. Her infectious energy was impossible to miss. She loved dressing up and being the life of the party either at Halloween or various parties and events. Pam was an amazing, caring mother to two young men, Kenny and Marty. She lived her life to the fullest and made sure those around her were doing the same.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert; her son, Kenny Rogers; her brother, Robert “Robbie” Bible, Jr; and her dog, Rebel.
Pam is survived by her son, Marty Rogers (George Langford) of Trenton; her very special granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose Rogers-Langford of Trenton; her mother, Dora “Jeanette” Coffield of Chiefland; sister, Kathleen (Bill) Dawkins of Fanning Springs; nieces and nephews, Robert III, Katrina, Amanda, Amber, and Jeffery; best friend, Darlene Bell of Old Town; and longtime companion, Mike Michaud, Sr of Chiefland.
