Matthew Keith Robinson

Matthew Keith Robinson, age 41, of Newberry, passed away on June 5, after complications from an automobile accident. He was born on May 9, 1981, to Eric and Rita Robinson. Matt grew up in Trenton and attended Trenton High School. For the last 10 years, he worked in the timber industry as a lumber grader. He loved fishing, especially for redfish, and rooting for his Florida Gators. He enjoyed music and was an excellent guitarist. But mostly, Matt loved spending time with his family especially his nephews, Jesse and Caleb. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Velma Bennett and Ronald Robinson.

Matt is survived by his father, Eric Robinson of Newberry; his mother, Rita Robinson of Old Town; sister, Christina Robinson of Newberry; nephews, Jesse and Caleb of Newberry; grandmother, Shirly Robinson of Newberry; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

 A graveside service to honor Matt will be held on Thursday, June 9, at 11:00 am at the Trenton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:30 am. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Watson-Milton Funeral Home, Trenton. 352-463-8888. www.WatsonMilton.com
