Martha Sue Burkhart

Martha Sue Burkhart, age 63, of Fanning Springs, FL, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at E.T. York Hospice in Gainesville, FL. She was born on April 4, 1955 to C. H. and Rosa Lee Gay in Altha, FL. Martha was a Certified Nurse's Assistant, wife and mother. She was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, Brad Burkhart; her daughter, Shannon Myers and her son, Shawn (Rondey Williams) Myers, all of Fanning Springs, FL; her sister, Sandra (Barry) Watkins of Archer, FL; her brother, George (Brenda) Gay of Cross City, FL and 5 grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Burkhart will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Watson Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Thigpen officiating. Interment will follow at Priscilla Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
