Marian Olene Baker (Lewis), 82, former resident of Alachua, FL passed away Monday, July 8th, 2024 at Ayers Rehabilitation Center in Trenton, FL. She was born in Xenia, OH June 19, 1942 and moved to Alachua, FL in 1978. Her and Daniel worked as a Husband and Wife maintenance team for Royal American Management, until their retirement. She enjoyed fishing, racing, arts & crafts, and spending time with her family.
She was is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Baker; Her parents, Raymond and Alta Lewis; Her sons Keith, Donnie, and Tony Slaven; Her daughters, Theresa Slaven and Jenny Baker; and four siblings, Sonny, Richard, Robert Wayne, and Olma.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela Sapp (Gene), step-daughter Susan Sesay (Hajig) and daughter-in-law Anna Slaven.
Grandkids Tara King (Dale), Anthony Brit, Jason & Tony Slaven, Brandi DeVine (Tony), Jessica Sapp, Stevie Cribbins (Nikki), Victoria Kenner (Eric), Brandon Baker (Sophia), Cody Voitle, Shawn Spornhauer, Quintin Ayala, Jordan Curtis.
She also leaves behind 14 great grandchildren, Bristol Grace. A lifelong friend, Barbara Camp (from Xenia, OH,) and her beloved dog, Lilly Ann.
The service will be held on July 27th at 10am at the Lions Club in High Springs Fl. Visitations from 10 to 11, service at 11, with lunch following after service.
