Ms. Maggie Cannon age 93 was called to her heavenly home on Friday, December 16, 2022, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Jacksonville FL. Maggie was born on February 24, 1929, in Bell, Florida to Edgar Miles Stancel and Leeda Grimes Stancel. She was a resident of 329 Roosevelt Terr. Road, Saint Augustine, Fl. And a member of Park Lane Baptist Church of Jacksonville, FL. She is preceded in death by her Husband William E. Cannon, her Father and Mother, Brother. Marvin E. Stancel, Sisters Ellamae Stancel, Mabel Stancel Gidley, Nancy Stancel Yarghn, Grandson William L Cannon. She is survived by one Son Tommy (Sandra) Cannon of Branford, FL Three Daughters Lillie (Greg) Clark of Starke, FL, Lavonia Ann Cannon of Saint Augustine, FL., and Thelma Gibson (Mike Whitfield) of Jacksonville, FL. Grandchildren, Tanya (Jeorge) Ruiz Pagan, Christina (Tommy) Taylor, Anthony (Kylie)Cannon, O.J. (Colleen) Starling Jr., Lee (Carla) Starling, and Seven great-grandchildren with a host of nieces and nephews, as well as friends. A service to honor Maggie’s life will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022. A viewing/visitation will be at 11:30a.m. -12:30p.m. With the Service Beginning at 12:30p.m at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church 4200 Co. Rd 340, Bell. FL, The Service will be officiated by Rev. Jimmy Corbin and Rev. Dale Dansby. Interment will be at the Wayfair Cemetery 4740 NW 45th Ave. Bell, FL. Arrangements are under the care of Watson-Milton Funeral Home of Trenton, FL.
