Louise Grimes

Louise Grimes, age 86, passed away on November 2, 2022, at North Florida Regional Hospital. Louise was born on May 10, 1936, to Ozie and Pearl Crews. She was born in Bell, FL and called Gilchrist County home. She met and married Lamar Grimes and they celebrated 70 beautiful years of marriage together. The couple had 15 children that were her pride and joy. She was the most loving, caring, and nurturing mother anyone could ask for. Louise enjoyed crocheting, singing, cooking, and spent many relaxing evenings on the porch swing.  She absolutely loved fishing and went every chance she could. Louise was a member of the Church of God in Bell. She was loved by many and will be truly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 sons, James, and Ozie.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years Lamar Grimes; her children Abraham, Matthew, Jimmy, Johnny, David, Corey, Troy, Juanita, Suzie, Peggy, Loretta, Pearl, Faye; and her nephew Junior Kimbrell.

Graveside services are being held at Wayfair Cemetery Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Her nephew, Junior Kimbrell will be officiating the service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Watson-Milton Funeral Home in Trenton, FL. 352-463-8888. Watsonmilton.com
