My daughter, Lin, is married to one of LaVerne's grandson's Ryan Brooks. Several meeting, through the years during the kids' college days, brought me to know and appreciate her warm company. I was blessed by those moments of friendship. I am sure Jesus is saying to LaVerne, 'Well done servant.' May LaVerne Rest In Peace.
