Harriett Moore Pedersen

Harriett Pedersen was received into the arms of her Lord and Savior on June 14, 2023, she was 86 years old.

She was born Harriett Leone Moore on August 10, 1936, to Jesse Leon Moore and Lela Belle Hall Velix in Augusta Georgia.

She married the love of her life George Anker Pedersen on August 12, 1956 in Augusta Georgia. They shared 63 years together before his passing and had two wonderful sons Kenneth and Timothy.

She is preceded in death by her husband George Pedersen, parents Jesse and Lela Moore, and her brother James Velix, Jr.

She is survived by her sons Kenneth (Charlotte) Pedersen of Trenton, Tim (Linda) Pedersen of Chiefland, grandson Otte (Krista) Pedersen of Tennessee, granddaughter Laura (Lemmy) Teague of Trenton, grandson Cody Pedersen of Chiefland, 6 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Along with many other family members and great friends.

A service to honor Harriett's life will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Wednesday June 21, 2023 at 11:00. A visitation will begin at 10:00. Internment scheduled directly after service at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
