Gail Langford Thomas, age 80 of High Springs, FL, passed away on August 1, 2023.
Mrs. Thomas was born April 8th, 1943, in High Springs to the late Albert and Edna Langford.
She retired from G.E. in 1990 after approximately 15 years of service. Mrs. Thomas was a member of Mt. Horeb Baptist church of High Springs. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren visiting the Great Smoky Mountains.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Johnny Mack Thomas; her children April Renee Carter Thomas of Ft. White, Johnny (Ann) Thomas of High Springs, Darrell (Rhonda) Thomas of Bell and Brandon (Angel) Thomas of High Springs; her brothers Dale (Vonnie) Langford of Trenton and Terry (Sherry) Langford of
High Springs; her sisters Jean Payne and Karen (Henry Avinger); her sisters-in-law, Judy Langford, Jackie Langford, and Betty Sue Langford.
Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by her Parents; two children, J. Garland Thomas, and Theresea Bennett; three brothers, C.T. Langford, Harold Langford, and Dennis Langford, two sisters Louise (Elwood) Tyre, and Madeline (Eldon); and brother-in-law Bruce Payne; 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and many other extended family and friends.
A service to honor Gail Langford Thomas will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church of High Springs. Visitation will begin at 10. Immediately following service interment will be held at Forest Grove cemetery of Alachua, FL.
