Frederick Ronald Watson

F. Ronald Watson, age 89, of Trenton, FL, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Haven Hospice of the Tri-Counties in Chiefland, FL. Mr. Watson was born on May 15, 1928 to Walter Vernon and S.E. Watson in Levy County and was a lifelong resident. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a farmer and was a former Director for Farm Credit. He was also a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for over 40 years. Mr. Watson is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mary Joyce Watson. He is survived by his two daughters, Rhonda (Ray) Northup of Trenton, FL and Melanie (Tony) Clubb of Interlachen, FL and his three grandchildren, Hillary and Brian Cribbs of Williston, FL, Heather and John Rawlins of St. Augustine, FL and Jason Clubb of Interlachen, FL. Funeral Services for Mr. Watson will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Greg Douglas and Pastor Tony Clubb officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, September 22, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00.
