Frances Catherine Colson

Frances Catherine Colson, age 78, of Bell, FL, passed away at E.T. York Hospice in Gainesville, FL on Sunday, September 16, 2018. She was born on May 16, 1940 to Rube William and Cletus Lorrane Geiger in Chiefland, FL and was a lifelong resident of Gilchrist County. She was a wife and mother and worked in Road Construction. She was also a member of Hardeetown Baptist Church in Chiefland. Mrs. Colson is preceded in death by her parents; one grandchild and her sister, Wilma Jean Forehand. She is survived by her husband, Jerry A. Colson of Bell; her sons, Samuel Glen Colson and Jerry Allen Colson, both of Trenton; her sister, Violet Lester of Chiefland; her brother, Mack Geiger of Chiefland; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
