Ella Jane Langford

Ella Jane Langford of Newberry, FL, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at ET York Hospice in Gainesville, FL. She was 85 years old. Ella Jane was born on December 6, 1932 to Wiley and Susie Bass in Bell, FL and was a lifelong resident of Gilchrist County. She was a homemaker and a mother and was of the Church of Christ faith. Mrs. Langford is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin Langford; her daughter, Susan Asbell and her grandchildren, Mark Asbell and Chad Berry. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Berry of Newberry, FL; her sons, Madison (Jannette) Langford of Summerville, TN and Ronnie Langford of Newberry, FL; her sister, Betty Sue Langford of High Springs, FL; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service for Mrs. Langford will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. William Langford officiating.
