Edith Armeda Everett

Edith Armeda Everett of Cross City, FL passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Tri-County Nursing Home in Trenton, FL. She was 92 years old. She was born in Gainesville, FL on February 1, 1926 to Fred and Viva Blitch Miller and was a resident of Cross City since moving from Trenton 50 years ago. Mrs. Everett was a homemaker and mother and was a member of Cross City Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Billie Earl Everett. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Jerry) Dixon and Brenda (Robert) Addington, both of Cross City, FL; her sons, Jerrell (Linda) Everett of Old Town. FL and Mike (Cherry) Everett of Jasper, FL; her brother, Freddie (Evelyn) Miller of Folkston, GA; 11 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Everett will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 26, 2018 in the Watson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Lindsey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Trenton, FL.
