Dorothy Coile, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on March 07,2024. She was born in Miami, Florida, on April 27, 1946.
Dorothy led a rich and fulfilling life, filled with love and cherished moments. In 1965 she married the love of her life John. While John was active duty, they moved frequently. Montana, California and even Oregon they called home, all before settling back down into Florida. She had a passion for music and the arts, spending her days playing the piano and painting ceramics with great skill and creativity. Her love for nature led her to the beach, where she found solace in watching and feeding wildlife. Dorothy was unbelievably outgoing. No one will forget how much she enjoyed going out, and having a great time with the girls.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years John Coile and baby Christine.
She is survived by her daughters, Loretta Destin, and Michelle (Britton) Fletcher. She also leaves behind brother Michael Draper (Sandy) and sister Lenore (Walter) Pevey, along with her adoring grandchildren Lavarious Walker, Vanessa (David) England, Kendal Destin, and Hunter Destin.
Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren Willow Ragains, Chloe England, Kiersen Walker and Kiersten Walker
Dorothy Coile will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and the warmth she brought to all who knew her. May she rest in peace knowing that she touched the hearts of many during her lifetime.
