Dorothy Doke Beck

Dorothy Doke Beck, age 92, of Trenton, FL, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton, FL. She was born to the late Charles and Mary Perryman Doke on January 6, 1926 in Judson, FL and was a lifelong resident of Trenton. Mrs. Beck was a homemaker and was a member of Wayfair Primitive Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Wesley Beck, sisters, Lottie Scott Moore of Trenton, FL, Joyce Halbrook of Alachua, FL, Carra Crosby of Trenton, FL and Edna Smith of MS and her grandson, Tony Allen. She is survived by her husband of over 70 years, J.T. Beck of Trenton; her 2 daughters, Thelma (Lawrence) Allen of Chiefland, FL and Carlene (Oliver) Munn of Ocala, FL; her son, Chesley "Bubba" (Alene) Beck of Trenton; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral Services for Mrs. Beck will be held on Thursday, August 23 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Watson Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Thornton, Brother Albert Altman and Brother Ralph Cobb officiating. Interment to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
