Danny Roberts

Danny Roberts, age 69, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017. He was born on July 11, 1948 to T.A. and Estelle Roberts and was a native of Gilchrist County FL. He was a resident of Milledgeville, GA for the last several years. Danny was a graduate of Bell High School and was a Church of Christ minister for over 40 years. He was currently the minister of Hardie's Chapel Church of Christ near Gordon, GA. Danny adored his family and loved serving his church families. He was an avid hunter. He is preceded in death by his parents T.A and Estelle Roberts; his first wife Kathy and his two brothers, Willie and Ernie. Survivors include his wife Pat; his son Sam; his daughter Tanya (Rusty); stepson, Brian; stepdaughter, Maria; twin brother, Billy (Myrtle) and brothers, Wilton (Sylvia) and Glen; sisters, Marion (Laverne), Mary Lee (William), Sarah (Bill) and Doris and grandchildren Katie and Ariel. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Watson Funeral Home in Trenton, FL. Funeral Services for Danny will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Trenton Church of Christ with Mr. Kent Heaton officiating. Internment to follow at Midway Cemetery in Bell, FL In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
