Betty Parrish Palmer

Mrs. Betty Parrish Palmer, of Bell, FL, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Williston Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was 89 years old. She was born on January 4, 1929 to Frank and Fronie Parrish in Bell, FL and had been a longtime resident since moving back from Leesburg in 1960. She previously worked at the GE Battery Plant and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Bell. Mrs. Palmer is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mike Palmer and her brother, Donald Parrish. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Earl L. Palmer, Sr. of Bell, FL; her son Earl L. "Roy" Palmer, Jr. and his wife Dorothy of Middleburg, FL; her brother Buddy (Ruth) Parrish of Bell, FL; 2 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Palmer will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the chapel at Watson Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00.
