Barbara Sellars

Barbara Leone Sellars, born on September 25, 1937, in Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024. Her departure leaves behind a legacy of love, care, and community that will long be remembered by those who knew her. Barbara dedicated many years of her life as a Ward Secretary at the West Orange Hospital in Winter Garden, where she was cherished by both colleagues and patients alike. Her career was marked by her truly compassionate nature and the warmth she extended to everyone around her. She was also a devoted member of the Bethel Baptist Church with her loving husband of 46 years, embodying the values of faith and fellowship.

A loving wife, Barbara cared deeply for her family, especially for her husband, James "Jim" Sellars. She is survived by her children, Joel Massey, Mike Massey, Lisa Moody, Tasha Head, Mitzy Sellars, Jimmie Estrella, and Rita Loos, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Outside of her professional life, Barbara was known for her vibrant personality. She had a passion for swimming during her high school years and enjoyed quality time spent with family. Her interests included shopping and a fascination with angels and birdhouses, reflecting her nurturing spirit and love for beauty in all forms.

A viewing and visitation with the family for Barbara will be held on January 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Watson Milton Funeral Home located at 426 W. Wade Street, Trenton, FL 32693.

Barbara Sellars will be deeply missed, but her loving spirit will remain alive in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
