Anthony (Tony) Douglas Beach was born on November 18, 1953 in St. Petersburg, Florida to Doug and Adeline Beach. His parents moved to the family farm in Trenton, Florida in 1969. He graduated from Trenton High School in 1971 where he was an avid athlete. After graduation, he then went on to play baseball at Florida College in Temple Terrace. It was there he met his future wife, Lisa Smith. The two were married on June 23, 1978 and would otherwise be celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary this year. They have resided in Chiefland, Florida together for the entirety of their marriage.
Tony began working at Central Florida Electric Cooperative in 1978 where he worked as a lineman. He spent many years working late and during thunderstorms, restoring electricity for those in their community. After 38 years, he retired in 2016.
As a young man, Tony enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed many years of supporting the Chiefland FFA and all the athletic games. After retirement, he spent all of his time with his wife, family, and friends. He could be found on any number of courts or fields watching his grandkids play baseball, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. He loved eating on the river with friends and just being with his family.
He was a member of the Chiefland church of Christ for all of his married life where he served as a deacon and then an elder for many years.
Tony passed from this life on March 17, 2023, surrounded by family.
Tony is preceded in death by his mother, Adeline Beach and his granddaughter, Alexa Kate Stewart, both of whom he loved dearly.
He is survived by his wife Lisa, daughter, Krista Beach Stewart (Brent), and their children, Natalie, Aubrey, Evan, Grant, and Cruz, father Doug Beach, brothers Gary (Vanessa) Beach and Steve (Penny) Beach, and many other extended family members.
