Anita Ramos

Ms. Anita Ramos, age 80, of Fanning Springs, Florida went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 12, 2021, at Haven Hospice in Chiefland. She was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States about 15 years ago. She was a lifelong farmer and a very talented one at that. She also loved to play BINGO and was a true conservative American patriot.

She is preceded in death by her husband Mariano Ramos and parents, Ambrocio Laminares and Benita Canon Laminares.
Ms. Ramos is survived by her four daughters, Marie Ann Ramos of Zephyrhills, Marites (David) Padot of Fanning Springs, Marietta (Joel) Padot of Fanning Springs, and Marinette (Jerik) Medrano of the Philippines; her 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister in the Philippines; and a host of extended family also survive.
A funeral service to honor Ms. Ramos’ life will be held on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at 3:00pm at Watson-Milton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour before the funeral. She will be laid to rest at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
